No tibetan style this time ‘cause I like the balinese version of Garuda a lot more
so I orientated myself this time more on these.

More than 24 hours of work.

the golden siddham writing is the sentence “a mistake won’t change ones way of life. be proud and let the pure white lotus* blossom” last part in the lyrics i think. took me one whole fucking day to get this into siddham writing! (even tho it’s not 100% right but I doubt people here can read it lol)
there are also two mantras in siddham saying:
“Om. I am the very self whose essence is the diamond knowledge of emptiness.” (left)
and “Oṃ. All Dharmas in their own-being are pure; in my own-being I too am pure!” (right)

3½h just for outlines. the fuck? I’m pretty slow…
centre is sooo detailed it was kinda irritating to me what is what lol
not sure if I should do scales on nagas ‘cause there’re already a mass of details
and I still need to think about a background before I can start colouring with ink
but first… I NEED A BREAK NOW!

It’s quite a while back since i’ve drawn this one.
it was a present for a friend i drew for her birthday because she wanted to have it.
She’ll maybe get it as a part of her backpiece tattoo some day. would be cool.
after finishing it i realized the phoenix is doing a heart with its long feathers lol
also sorry for having no cool backround and scanner is still a shitty asshole
